Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cisco to Sophos Migration Consultant to lead and support the migration of enterprise network security infrastructure from Cisco solutions to Sophos platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience planning, designing, and executing firewall and security migrations while minimizing business disruption., * Assess existing Cisco security and network environments, including firewalls, VPNs, NAT policies, and security rules.

Plan and execute migrations from Cisco security platforms to Sophos Firewall solutions.
Translate and migrate firewall policies, access control lists (ACLs), VPN configurations, and network security settings.
Design, configure, and deploy Sophos Firewall solutions based on business and security requirements.
Perform migration testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Ensure minimal downtime and maintain security compliance throughout the migration process.
Document migration procedures, network configurations, and post-migration support activities.
Collaborate with network engineers, security teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide knowledge transfer and operational guidance to internal teams.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, * Strong experience with Cisco security technologies, including Cisco ASA and Cisco Firepower.

Hands-on experience with Sophos Firewall deployment, configuration, and administration.
Experience migrating firewall rules, VPNs, NAT policies, and security configurations between platforms.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, and network security principles.
Experience troubleshooting complex network and security issues.
Knowledge of security best practices and firewall policy management.
Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment., * Sophos certifications (Sophos Firewall Engineer, Architect, or equivalent).
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
Experience with enterprise-scale firewall migration projects.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
