Technical Support Engineer - Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert troubleshooting, service support, and technical guidance for automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and material handling equipment. This role serves as a key escalation point for technicians and customers, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, supporting field service activities, and ensuring equipment reliability and customer satisfaction., * Provide technical support to field technicians and end users via phone, email, and occasional onsite visits.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues involving automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Support technicians with low-voltage control circuits and 230-600VAC three-phase power systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, chain-driven systems, belt-driven systems, and other automated material handling equipment.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering and advanced technical support teams when appropriate.
• Track equipment failures, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions on a per-incident basis.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, service procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
• Support field service activities including equipment commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Conduct technical training sessions for field technicians, maintenance personnel, and end users.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to resolve customer issues and improve product performance.
• Participate in technical training programs and product education initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Do you have experience in Sensors?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial automation, electrical controls, and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues remotely and communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal engineering teams., * Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage control systems and 230-600VAC three-phase power distribution.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, and industrial control components.
• Experience troubleshooting chain drives, belt drives, conveyors, and automated equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
• Material handling, warehouse automation, or conveyor system experience.
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
• Experience providing remote technical support to field technicians and customers.
