Database Developer - SQL

This role is part of a collaborative Agile team responsible for supporting enterprise web applications, data initiatives, reporting solutions, and internal tools. The ideal candidate will bring strong database development expertise, a passion for building scalable data solutions, and the ability to work closely with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders., * Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop end-to-end data solutions that support application functionality and analytics.

• Build and maintain scalable, reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with architectural standards and business objectives.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through knowledge sharing, process enhancements, and adoption of best practices.
• Adhere to established quality standards, development processes, security requirements, and data governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within production and non-production environments.

Do you have experience in Schema design?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Experience working within Agile development environments, including Scrum or similar methodologies.

• Strong background troubleshooting and resolving issues in complex production systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational database platforms, particularly Microsoft SQL Server or comparable RDBMS technologies.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, database design principles, and enterprise data management practices.
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing and data lake environments.

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL development skills, including Microsoft T-SQL.
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices is preferred.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala is a plus.
• Experience with logical and physical database design.
• Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in database development within Microsoft SQL Server and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
