Job description

We are seeking a Junior GIS Technician to support GIS operations through map production, spatial data maintenance, and geospatial data processing activities., * Create and update GIS maps, exhibits, and cartographic products.

Perform spatial and attribute data editing and validation.
Assist with digitizing, georeferencing, and data conversion activities.
Support GIS database maintenance and data organization.
Develop map templates and standardized layouts.
Produce thematic maps and visual presentations.
Assist with GPS and field data collection efforts.
Maintain GIS metadata and documentation.

Requirements

Do you have experience in GIS software?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * GIS software proficiency

Cartographic design and map production experience
Spatial data editing skills
Knowledge of GIS and CAD integration concepts
Strong attention to detail, * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, or related field
1-3 years of GIS experience
Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, AutoCAD, or related software
