Job description

We are a manufacturing company in Cranston, Rhode Island seeking a Finance Systems Analyst for a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Director of Finance. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology. The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting background and the technical ability to build, configure, and interpret ERP reports. This is not a pure IT role. We need someone who understands the numbers behind the reports they are designing., * Design and generate financial and operational reports within our ERP system to support leadership decision-making

  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance and VP of Operations to translate reporting needs into system outputs
  • Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve how data is captured, processed, and presented
  • Maintain data integrity across ERP modules and support cross-departmental data integration
  • Troubleshoot system issues and serve as the internal subject matter expert on ERP reporting and configuration
  • Support system updates, testing, and documentation as needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in Preparation of internal financial performance reports?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 5 to 8 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or ERP systems role, with demonstrated ability to work across both disciplines

  • Background in finance, accounting, or a related field combined with hands-on ERP experience
  • Experience with Global Shop Solutions is a plus; Epicor, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics experience is strongly considered
  • Ability to read and interpret financial data, not just pull it
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision and communicating findings to both finance and operations leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, * ERP systems: 3 years (Required)
  • Financial report design: 4 years (Required)
