Job description
- Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, DMS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related cloud infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health across AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and application-related issues within the AWS ecosystem.
- Assist with cloud resource provisioning, maintenance, and optimization.
- Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of Amazon Redshift clusters.
- Monitor cluster performance, storage utilization, and query execution efficiency.
- Support user management, permissions, and access control within Redshift environments.
- Troubleshoot data platform issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve incidents.
- Assist in performance tuning and operational best practices for Redshift environments.
- Utilize CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Respond to operational alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in 24x7 operational support and on-call rotations as needed.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Analyze and troubleshoot SQL queries, performance issues, and data-related incidents.
- Develop and maintain basic scripts to automate operational tasks and monitoring activities.
- Support data migration and integration processes utilizing AWS DMS and related services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, * 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services, including:
- EC2
- S3
- DMS
- CloudWatch
- Lambda
- 1-2 years of experience supporting Amazon Redshift environments.
- Strong SQL troubleshooting and query analysis skills.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of cloud monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
- Experience with user access management and security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure and data platforms.
