Job description
Position summary: The Data Collection Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties including the configuration and on-going management of our copier status management software, Page Trac. This software is used for meter collection and auto toner replenishment. This position may require on-site assessments to document output device locations and usage, and coordination and tracking of special projects as needed.
Position responsibilities:
· Create new client accounts and Data Collection Agent (DCA) install links through Page Trac and provide to the proper party
· Follow-up after equipment installation to make sure the DCA was installed, and the devices are reporting
· Troubleshoot Page Trac connectivity issues and escalate DCA tickets as needed
· Manage and update the DCA dashboard with relevant equipment information
· Manage and complete DCA tickets for devices or hosts that have gone offline
· Run weekly reports to audit current DCA connectivity and ticket statuses
· Update customer account information with current data collection methods
· Assist Billing Administrator with meter collection as needed
· Act as a backup for mainline incoming calls
Requirements
Do you have experience in Data collection?, Do you have a Doctoral degree in life sciences?, · Excellent communication skills
· Advanced computer and/or networking skills strongly preferred
· Displays patience in explaining highly technical information to customers who may not be tech-savvy
· Ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
· Ability to act with a sense of urgency while paying attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred, * Data collection: 1 year (Required)
