Job description
Welcome To Love’s: This position is responsible for the configuration and processing of IT equipment for deployment to field and corporate users.
Job Functions:
- Monitor and fulfill internal tickets for IT equipment configuration requests
- Collaborate and work with other configuration technicians to complete group projects or tasks
- Stage, configure and teardown IT equipment in staging labs for new locations or projects
- Process returned IT equipment for repair, re-use, salvage, or internal solutions
- Work with onsite installation teams to remotely configure equipment at new locations
- Provide remote IT support to installation teams at project or new locations
- Ensure configured IT assets are accurately tracked in asset management software
- Assist with inventory and warehouse management as needed
- Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, + HS Diploma or equivalent required
- College diploma or university degree in an IT field and/or zero to two years equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience:
- Intermediate knowledge with Windows OS troubleshooting and software installation
- Familiar with Android and iOS devices including tablets and phones
- General understanding of networking and subnetting
- Preferred two years technical support, IT equipment configuration, or equivalent experience, + Able to perform repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently in support of large scale deployments
- Knowledge of OS installation and imaging
- Familiar with computer hardware, internal components, and peripherals (laptops and desktops)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
