IT System Administrator

Idea Nuova is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to support and enhance our technology infrastructure across multiple business functions.

This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT environment, including cloud platforms, network infrastructure, security systems, enterprise applications, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working across a broad range of technologies while helping drive operational efficiency and business continuity.

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Intune, networking infrastructure, and cloud-based systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support the administration of servers, storage, networking equipment, and business-critical applications.
• Assist with technology upgrades, system implementations, and infrastructure projects.

Technical Support & User Management

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, device deployment, and user access administration.
• Support end users across multiple departments, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues in a timely manner.

Security & Business Continuity

• Maintain cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, access controls, and system security policies.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and system risks.
• Manage backup systems, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity initiatives.
• Assist with security awareness and IT best practices across the organization.

Automation & Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline IT administration and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance system performance.
• Support technology initiatives that improve collaboration, productivity, and scalability.

Vendor & Asset Management

• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, licensing records, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with technology vendors, service providers, and external IT partners as needed.
• Assist with software renewals, hardware procurement, and vendor relationship management., * Maintains a secure, stable, and scalable IT environment that supports business growth.
• Delivers exceptional technical support and a positive employee experience.
• Improves system reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Successfully automates manual processes and streamlines IT workflows.
• Maintains accurate documentation, asset management, and technology governance.
• Serves as a trusted technology partner to teams across the organization.

Do you have experience in macOS support?, * 3-5+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related role.

• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra, Intune, and cloud-based environments.
• Experience supporting networking infrastructure, endpoint management, and security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and process improvement preferred.
