Job description

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
Work on RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external banking systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
Ensure application performance, security, and compliance (important for banking)
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes
Work with CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation

Requirements

Strong experience in Java (8/11/17)
Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SOAP (if legacy systems involved)
Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / DB2)
Familiarity with Kafka / messaging systems (nice to have in banking)
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
Understanding of design patterns and OOP concepts
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Banking/Financial domain experience ( highly preferred for PNC )
Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, encryption)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Experience with batch processing tools (Spring Batch)

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
