IT Specialist - Full Time - Salt Lake City

In addition, the role will involve using your knowledge of various information security technologies to provide technical security advice, and influence design, policy and strategy., * Network administration and preventive maintenance (including firewalls, servers, backup, security management, user account management, e-mail accounts and server configuration, internet access, office systems and applications support).

• Monitoring IT network to ensure availability to all users.
• Follow security trends and stay abreast of technology changes.
• Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
• Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.
• Align IT risk management within IT productivity objectives.
• Performs technology needs analysis.
• Knowledge of MS365 environment, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• At least 2 years experience managing and monitoring IT networks/security, server administration, operating systems and/or hardware
• 2 years experience handing mid-large size organization IT support to include Microsoft 365, Windows Operating System, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM is preferred. This also includes configuration/security/manufacturer updates which is strongly desired.

• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

• Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Other languages are an asset.

Computer Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) both in deployment and administration
• Experience with the following: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, patch management.
• Working knowledge of WAN/LAN/WIFI technology, Windows scripting/logging/auditing, encryption.
• Linux experience a plus.
