Job description
As IT Project Manager, you’ll serve as the operational backbone of our 6-8 person IT team-ensuring work moves forward, stakeholders stay informed, and nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll lead weekly team syncs, run status reviews with the CIO, and drive continuous milestone tracking against quarterly goals. As the company grows, this role is designed to evolve into broader operational leadership within IT. Here’s what you’ll own:
- Maintain a centralized IT project inventory; ensure all active and planned work is cataloged, prioritized, and visible to leadership.
- Lead delivery cadences (standups, reviews, retrospectives); track milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor team capacity, flag bottlenecks early, and coordinate resources to keep work flowing.
- Act as a bridge between IT and business units; translate business needs into actionable IT priorities.
- Support IT governance including change management, project intake, status reporting, and operational KPIs.
- Provide input on IT budgets, vendor relationships, and renewal cycles.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase the efficiency and scalability of the IT function.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Managing projects?, You’re a sharp, organized IT project manager who thrives on keeping things moving. You have a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities, and translating technical work into business-friendly updates. You take pride in your work without taking yourself too seriously-you’re self-driven, proactive, and comfortable leading through influence in a small, fast-paced team. You’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact and grow with the company., * 5+ years in IT project or program management.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent communication skills-able to translate technical work into business-friendly updates.
- Financial services or lending industry experience preferred.
- Mortgage insurance industry experience a plus.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM a plus.
- Experience in or trajectory toward operational/IT leadership.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.) a plus.

- Lending or Mortgage Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PMP or Agile certification (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kirkland, WA 98034
