This global technology business has just completed a massive migration to their own platform, and now, the stage is set for scale, innovation, and speed. Products are being built at pace, technology is unlocking new capabilities, and the experiences delivered to customers worldwide are next-level.

As a Lead Developer, you’ll be actively involved in building and delivering new functionality, while guiding a team to produce high quality, scalable software. Working closely with Platform Engineering, Product, Design, Test and Project Management, you’ll help shape technical direction, improve processes, and ensure delivery is on time and to agreed standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team on tooling, CI/CD and deployment process improvements
  • Produce clean, maintainable, scalable code
  • Debug, resolve issues, fix bugs and optimise performance across the stack
  • Provide technical direction to the team through code reviews and mentioring
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply learning to improve development processes
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for design, code, tests and user-facing technical materials where required
  • Act as a liaison between Engineering and Senior Management, communicating progress, risks and technical challenges

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with C# .NET
  • Solid SQL/MySQL experience
  • Proven experience developing enterprise-grade single-page applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with strong expertise in modern frameworks
  • Confident with Git and source control best practices.
  • Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, software design and architecture
  • Experience with TDD
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator, with a problem-solving mindset.

About the company

You’ll be joining a team where your work actually matters, helping millions of users around the world interact with cutting-edge technology every day.
