IT Support

This role provides front-line support for the IT department by answering incoming calls, creating support tickets, and coordinating the sale of surplus IT equipment through online platforms such as eBay., 1. Answer incoming IT support phone calls and provide basic customer service

1. Gather necessary information from users and submit accurate tickets in the ticketing system
2. Manage inventory of surplus or decommissioned IT equipment
3. Prepare items for resale (basic cleaning, documentation, listing details)
4. Create and maintain eBay listings, including descriptions, pricing, and photos
5. Coordinate shipping, handling, and customer communication for sold items
6. Ensure proper handling of equipment in accordance with organizational and data security policies
7. Other duties as assigned as it pertains to this role.

Do you have experience in Computer operation?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, High School Diploma, Preferred

Experience:

Experience with IT ticketing systems, preferred

Familiarity with eBay or other online sales platforms, preferred

Basic understanding of IT equipment (PCs, laptops, peripherals), preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works indoors in an air-conditioned environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent use of computer and phone, and other standard office machines. Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, twist, kneel, reach, push, pull using proper body mechanics and move/lift varying amounts of weight to a maximum of 50 lbs.
