IT System Administrator

The System Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing a hybrid IT environment spanning on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft cloud services. This role ensures system reliability, security, and scalability while actively supporting the organization’s transition from on-premises systems to cloud-based solutions., · Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

· Manage Azure AD (Entra ID) and hybrid identity

· Maintain and optimize on-premises virtualized infrastructure

· Plan and execute migration from on-prem to Azure and Microsoft 365

· Support and implement a cloud-first strategy

· Configure and maintain Teams Phone system, including policies and call routing

· Maintain networking components (switching, wireless access points, firewalls)

· Implement security controls (MFA, conditional access)

· Oversee backups and disaster recovery

· Ensure system uptime, security, and reliability

· Monitor systems and resolve issues

· Act as Tier 3 escalation

· Develop and maintain system and infrastructure documentation

· Collaborates with other IT team members to ensure efficient resolution of issues and alignment with organizational standards

· Provide coverage for Tier 1/2 when needed

Do you have experience in Server virtualization?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Required:

· Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure AD experience

· Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)

· Hybrid cloud experience

· Experience with cloud migrations

· Networking fundamentals

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

· Azure experience

· Intune/Endpoint Manager

· Power Automate/Power Apps

· PowerShell

· Migration project experience

· Teams Phone experience
