Job description
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist professional to deliver high-quality support and maintenance for critical business systems. In this role, you’ll partner with IT, QA, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and support ongoing system improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for application support, resolving system issues, errors, and user inquiries
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data-related issues to ensure business continuity
- Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues
- Configure and maintain key business applications while building deep system knowledge
- Collaborate with IT and QA teams on system testing, enhancements, and deployments
- Support reporting needs, including tracking and analyzing ticket data
- Document processes, issues, and solutions in alignment with IT standards
- Build strong relationships across departments to ensure a seamless support experience
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Experience supporting business applications or working in a help desk / IT support environment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Experience managing support tickets and prioritizing competing requests
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, * 6 + months of related experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications or coursework in IT, systems support, or application management
- Experience with phone systems is a plus (Avaya preferred)
