QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER & COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Systems Engineer & Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible to develop, implement and maintain quality programs, and for ensuring quality processes and protocols are followed and documentation is correctly maintained.

Duties:

• Evaluate product and manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards

• Mitigate quality issues and implement corrective action plans across cross-functional groups

• Communicate and present product status and quality reports to customers via email, phone and onsite visits

• Manage multiple quality programs in the Quality Management System

• Manage multiple quality projects at various production stages

• Represent the organization to customers, clearly communicate product and quality reports, issues, and updates to customers primarily within the Aerospace & Defense industries

• Act as a liaison between the customer and the operations team; communicate customer specifications and ensure production and inspection processes are compliant

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

• Manage the customer complaint process; investigate and resolve quality issues with an innate sense of urgency and thoroughness

• Partner with operations and engineering; recommend corrective actions for procedural, product, or process deficiencies

• Assist with root cause analysis efforts to determine corrective actions

• Update and maintain accurate records in the Quality Management System (QMS)

• Interface with supplier quality representatives concerning problems with quality and assure that effective corrective action is implemented

• Consistently communicate customer quality status and updates to the Quality Leadership Team

• Organize and attend meetings

Do you have experience in Written communication?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, High school education required

• 2+ years in quality assurance procedures and processes

Knowledge & Skills:

• Highly developed oral and written communication skills; ability to conduct customer presentations; able to translate technical data in to simple language to train employees

• Exceptional problem solving skills

-Knowledge of PCB and industry specific specifications such as AS9100 and ISO 9001

• Skilled in conducting failure analysis activities and championing corrective action plans with cross functional teams

• Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and documentation

• Familiarity with database technologies such as Oasis

• Strong critical thinking skills, able to independently assess quality issues as they relate to customer specifications

Abilities and Other Requirements:

• Ability to articulate quality standards, procedures, and updates to customers through written, verbal, and in-person communications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job, * Quality assurance: 2 years (Required)
• PCB related: 5 years (Preferred)
