We are seeking an elite Applications Engineer to serve as the premier technical authority for our advanced energy intelligence deployments.

In this high-impact, client-facing role, you will architect the successful integration, deployment, and validation of sophisticated, mission-critical power metering solutions for industry-leading enterprises. Acting as the bridge between complex client requirements and cutting-edge engineering execution, you will champion unique technical configurations and steer high-stakes solutions through their entire lifecycle.

If you are a high-caliber engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical mastery, custom system validation, and strategic client execution, this is your platform to drive the future of digital power quality., * Solution Architecture & Sales Partnership: Partner with sales to translate customer business challenges (e.g., uptime risk, energy inefficiency) into technically differentiated hardware and software power management solutions to win new accounts and expand existing ones.

  • Design, Validation & Documentation: Handle the design, validation, and comprehensive technical documentation of power management solutions, including system architectures, configurations, product specifications, and functional requirements.
  • Global Liaison & Product Feedback: Act as the liaison with global application management teams to ensure alignment on global solutions, while providing field-level feedback to product development teams regarding the practical aspects of the company’s products.
  • Project Management & Compliance: Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively across various internal departments while ensuring full compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Technology Trends & Travel: Maintain a high degree of awareness regarding emerging technologies and their potential applications within the product suite, with the ability to travel up to 25% to Global Headquarters or main U.S. office.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)?, * Education & Certifications: MS/BS in Electrical Engineering (or a relevant field) or a Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

  • Core Technical Experience: Proven background in electrical or applications engineering-ideally in the power management industry-with hands-on experience in the design, construction, operation, and commissioning of substations, AC/DC systems, and medium/low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
  • Critical Equipment Expertise: Strong understanding of data center environments and associated equipment, including switchgear, generators, transformers, ATS, controls, emergency power systems, and electrical protection.
  • Systems & Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in interpreting technical specifications and electrical one-line drawings, alongside a strong grasp of data acquisition, energy management, power monitoring, and SCADA solutions. Experienced with industry software tools and programming languages, specifically AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks.
  • Professional & Client Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, interact professionally with clients, and deliver customer-oriented problem-solving., * How many years of experience do you have working directly with or designing low/medium-voltage power distribution systems (e.g., switchgear, substations, transformers, ATS)?
  • Which industrial software tools or protocols do you have hands-on, practical experience configuring or using? (i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, Modbus/BACnet protocols, SCADA systems, Power Monitoring/EPMS software)
