Desktop Publishing Specialist - Contingent

• Desktop Publishing & Layout: Review and refine document structures, formatting, and layouts for technical documentation generated during operations.
• Editorial Review: Edit reports, assessments, and supporting materials to ensure strict compliance with program standards, consistency, and stakeholder expectations.
• SME & Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and documentation specialists to verify content accuracy, completeness, and alignment.
• Deliverable Production: Support the production of high-quality deliverables that effectively communicate survey findings, data, and recommendations.
• Information Clarity: Refine complex technical information so it can be easily digested by both technical and non-technical target audiences.

• Experience: 3 to 10 years of professional experience supporting technical writing, editing, records management, document control, reporting, configuration documentation, and knowledge management activities.
• Education: Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s (MA/MS) degree.
• Education/Experience Equivalencies:
• High School Diploma / GED: 7 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s Degree: 6 years of relevant experience
• BA/BS Degree: 4-6 years of relevant experience
• MA/MS Degree: 2 years of relevant experience
• Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
• Competency: Journeyman personnel are expected to perform functional duties independently.
• Preferred Credentials: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), records management certification, administrative professional, travel coordination, or equivalent business operations credentials.
