Support full-life cycle engineering design and development activities on ES programs.

Perform requirements analysis, systems modeling (SYSML), trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis.

Use technical acumen and problem-solving skills toward the execution of systems engineering tasks.

Execute reviews of engineering work products to ensure technically accurate and quality work products.

Generate subcontract statements of work and manage outside subcontractor performance.

Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal review teams and at program milestone reviews.

Interact daily with program managers, planners, engineers, and technicians.

Travel in support of project execution and testing as required, up to 15%.

The Electronic Systems (ES) engineering team has an immediate opening for a mid-senior level Systems Engineer to support the growing Simulation and Training Team. As a member of the Simulation and Training Team, the systems engineer supports engineering development projects to deliver on our program commitments and release the capabilities to our military customers. The strong candidate will possess a broad knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines and be able to execute in both R&D and production environments. As a systems engineer, you will perform a variety of assignments including requirements analysis, architecture design, systems integration, new product integration, and system test., Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Science with 2 or more years related experience (systems or test engineering) or master’s degree in engineering with 1 or more years related experience.

Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design.

Experience with DOORS, JIRA, and MagicDraw (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Experience in a DoD environment and model-based systems engineering are preferred.

Effective writing and presentation skills.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).

Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.
