QA Technician

* Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications

• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
• Test in-process and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical results.
• Perform inspections across all stages of production, and maintain accurate reports
• Prepare and maintain test data for review
• Evaluate data, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
• Report findings using email, word, excel and current business software
• Identify areas for quality control improvement
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
• General cleaning duties in lab and plant environments
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Do you have experience in Regulatory/legal compliance standards in production?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

• General understanding of laboratory equipment
• Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP’s) and Good Laboratory Practices at all times.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of quality lab setting and/or food production experience or related degree.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
• Possible mandatory overtime
