Job description
* Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Test in-process and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical results.
- Perform inspections across all stages of production, and maintain accurate reports
- Prepare and maintain test data for review
- Evaluate data, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
- Report findings using email, word, excel and current business software
- Identify areas for quality control improvement
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- General cleaning duties in lab and plant environments
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
Do you have experience in Regulatory/legal compliance standards in production?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- General understanding of laboratory equipment
- Follow Good Manufacturing (GMP’s) and Good Laboratory Practices at all times.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of quality lab setting and/or food production experience or related degree.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Possible mandatory overtime
