Job description

Apex Mechanical is seeking a dependable and hands-on IT Support Specialist. This role focuses on keeping both office and field staff up and running by resolving day-to-day technology issues and supporting IT needs across the company. Be part of a team that supports the technology behind our projects and keeps our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Spend the majority of time troubleshooting hardware and software issues for office and field employees
  • Provide support for computers, mobile devices, and job site technology
  • Assist with general IT tasks and department needs as they arise
  • Communicate clearly with users of all technical skill levels Work Environment This is an active role requiring time on your feet assisting employees, along with desk-based work.

Requirements

  • Patient, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable supporting a range of technical skill levels
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Dropbox and Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, iOS/Apple, and Android devices Programming experience preferred
