Job description

TemperPack is looking for a skilled D365 Business Central Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions that support our core business operations across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing. You’ll work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate process requirements into durable, well-architected BC configurations and customizations., * Design and develop extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code, adhering to Microsoft’s extension model

  • Configure and customize Business Central modules - including finance, inventory, purchasing, sales, and manufacturing
  • Collaborate with functional leads and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Integrate BC with third-party systems and internal platforms via APIs and web services
  • Support data migration efforts including mapping, transformation, and validation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause and long-term fix
  • Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and development standards
  • Stay current on BC release cycles and advise on upgrade impact and feature adoption
  • Operate within an Agile environment that emphasizes iterative development, thorough testing and fast clean deployments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems integration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 3+ years of hands-on D365 Business Central development experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in AL programming language; working knowledge of C/AL a plus
  • Strong understanding of BC functional areas - particularly finance and supply chain
  • Experience with BC APIs, OData, and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for BC development
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, not just technical teams
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification
  • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) in a BC context
  • Experience with EDI integrations or WMS connectors

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 15 pounds unassisted
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
