Job description
- Build, maintain, and optimize Epic application functionality
- Design and configure:
- Orders
- Order Sets
- Therapy Plans
- Flowsheets
- Procedure Documentation (ProcDoc)
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex application and workflow issues
- Gather and translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions
- Support application upgrades, testing, implementation, and maintenance
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support
- Collaborate with clinicians, operational teams, report developers, and IT staff
- Create and maintain technical documentation and workflow designs
- Partner with vendors to resolve system issues and improve application performance
- Lead or participate in complex projects and system enhancement initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic clinical applications
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Minimum 4 years of Epic Analyst experience
- Active Epic Certification in one of the following:
- Epic ClinDoc/Orders
- Epic Ambulatory
- Epic Beacon
- Experience building:
- Orders
- Order Sets
- Therapy Plans
- Flowsheets
- ProcDoc
- High School Diploma or GED required, * Extensive experience supporting clinical workflows within Epic
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior analysts
- Healthcare IT and clinical systems experience, * Epic Clinical Applications
- Workflow Analysis & Design
- Application Build & Optimization
- System Integration
- Incident Management
- Technical Documentation
- Vendor Collaboration
- Project Leadership
- End User Support, * High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Epic anlyst: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Epic ClinDoc/Orders or Epic Ambulatory or Epic Beacon (Required)
