Job description
Opportunity Federal, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Data Analytics Integrator in Marietta, GA. You will serve as the primary technical architect, bridging human resources and financial data - designing, building, and maintaining a suite of Power BI data products from the ground up that give senior leadership real-time and predictive visibility into manpower and budget execution. This is a greenfield build: no inherited dashboards, no existing data models. You own the pipelines, the models, and the products end-to-end, 1. Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards, including:
- Leave Without Pay (LWOP) / Return-to-Duty status tracking with integrated budget impacts;
- Awards and Quality Step Increase (QSI) monitoring with processing timelines;
- Military service credit deposit (buyback) tracking; and
- A Status of Funds dashboard with integrated views of available, committed, and obligated funds tied to personnel accounts.
-
Build reconciliation products identifying discrepancies between personnel systems and the accounting system of record.
-
Develop predictive models for vacancy fill timelines (ātime-to-fillā) and multi-year workforce trends - retirements, attrition, and promotions - and their budget impact.
-
Create a workflow-visualization tool tracking personnel and budget actions from initiation to completion.
-
Sustain defined quality standards: 95-100% data accuracy and data refreshes within 24 hours of source-system updates.
-
Serve as the customerās trusted analytics resource, working directly with senior Government leadership.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, 1. Eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC) - requires a favorable FBI fingerprint check and Tier 1 federal background investigation (no security clearance required).
-
Four or more (4+) years designing and deploying Power BI solutions, including: * Advanced DAX and Power Query; * Data modeling; and * Workspace administration and row-level security.
-
Hands-on ETL experience - SQL required; SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Power Platform dataflows a plus. You build data pipelines, not just reports.
-
Experience handling sensitive/PII data with appropriate access controls.
-
Ability to work on-site in Marietta, GA.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Army or DoD systems: GFEBS, DCPDS, FTSMCS, or comparable federal financial or HR systems of record.
-
DoD, National Guard, or federal workforce/manpower analytics background - veterans and Guard technicians strongly encouraged to apply.
-
Forecasting or predictive modeling experience (Python or R a plus).
-
Experience in standing up a BI capability from zero in a new environment
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
