911 Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced EMS Systems Administrator to support and maintain mission-critical public safety communications systems. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), 911 telephony, Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), radio communications, and related public safety technologies., The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting emergency communications environments such as Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), 911 centers, EMS agencies, fire departments, police departments, or other public safety organizations., * Administer, maintain, and support Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.

• Manage and troubleshoot 911 telephony and emergency communications technologies.
• Support Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) systems and related workflows.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of mission-critical applications.
• Coordinate software upgrades, patches, testing, and system implementations.
• Support integrations between CAD, telephony, radio, GIS, mobile data terminals, and other public safety applications.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues impacting dispatch operations.
• Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and technical guides.
• Work closely with dispatch personnel, public safety leadership, vendors, and IT teams.
• Participate in system configuration, deployment, and enhancement projects.
• Ensure compliance with public safety communication standards and operational requirements.
• Provide after-hours support as needed for critical incidents and system outages.

Do you have experience in Production systems?, * Experience supporting Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.

• Experience with 911 telephony, emergency communications, or Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) environments.
• Knowledge of Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) operations and technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and system administration skills.
• Experience supporting mission-critical applications in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Motorola, CentralSquare, Hexagon, Tyler Technologies, VESTA, or similar public safety platforms.
• Experience supporting radio communications systems and public safety networks.
• Knowledge of NG911 technologies and public safety communications infrastructure.
• Experience working within EMS, Fire, Police, Airport Operations, or Emergency Communications Centers.
