Job description

The client will implement an updated Enterprise Resource Planning system. As a Workstream Lead - Master Scheduler you will be part of the team that controls and manages all aspects of scheduling in a JIT manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for day to day releasing of production orders and scheduling of different equipment based on customer needs in the ERP system.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics or a closely related field or equivalent work experience in multiple areas

Collaborates with plant support personnel to understand manufacturing processes, production lines, customers, customer requirements, capacity limits and EDI transactions.

Ability to learn and document plant processes and recommend how they could be improved or automated.

Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability.

Understanding of how schedule changes will impact the end user(s)

Ability to professionally manage multiple production lines and customers.

Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data.

Experience with JIT and enterprise systems, particularly with: (JIT Just in Time: production strategy aimed at reducing waste and improving efficiency by producing goods only as they are needed, rather than in advance)
