Job description
A major client of Insight Global is implementing an updated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. As a Workstream Lead - Warehouse to Ship you will be part of the team that implements this system. You will be responsible for learning and becoming a subject matter expert who is able to support the project manager and team in driving the project forward to complete deliverables and tasks. You will need to identify, track and escalate issues; facilitate project team members in problem solving, participate in ERP process design sessions, the configuration, testing and go live, as well as training the key users at the different areas of the organization. After the system implementation, Workstream Lead will be responsible for supporting the business, providing training, and ensure the system is functioning as intended., Collaborate with Project Manager and team to assign and achieve project goals within available resource plans and organize workloads and project assignments; train, motivate and evaluate assigned staff. In collaboration with Project Manager, it reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience with enterprise systems, specializing in warehousing Knowledge and experience with material flow and tracing Ability to ask users about their processes and how they could be automated and improved Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability Ability to lead and solve problems Attention to detail and follow through Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours Understanding of how changes will impact the end user(s) Ability to work independently within a matrixed organization / with vendors / an international environment Ability to professionally handle multiple tasks / changing priorities Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data, A bachelor’s degree and/or 5 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing an ERP/MRP System General understanding of how to navigate and best use ERP/MRP systems Their system is QAD but that is not required Experience in Training and Presenting Active listening and ability to be coachable
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of QAD (ERP) is a plus Fluency in English, and Spanish Applicable Certifications Prior experience supporting the implementation of an ERP
