Job description
- Execute comprehensive testing of mobile and desktop games on Android, iOS, Windows, and other platforms using tools like TestNG, Selenium, and Appium.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Conduct functional, system, regression, performance, load testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify game stability and quality.
- Analyze test results using data analysis skills and SQL databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server to identify root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with developers using version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or SVN to report bugs and verify fixes through continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Test APIs and web services utilizing RESTful API protocols to ensure smooth communication between game components.
- Support release management by validating updates through rigorous testing cycles aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.

- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms including device-specific considerations.
- Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting using tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse; experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong understanding of APIs (SOAP/REST), system architecture (SOA), and service-oriented architecture principles.
- Proficiency in database querying using SQL or PL/SQL; experience with MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB is desirable.
- Experience working within SDLC frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall; familiarity with DevOps practices including Jenkins or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Excellent analysis skills for identifying issues through data analysis and performing root cause analysis efficiently.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter; understanding of UI/UX principles is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills for documenting test cases, creating detailed reports, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.
