Job description
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on new and used muscle car parts inventory, shipping, receiving, organization, and team coordination. This role is ideal for an individual with strong automotive parts knowledge who can lead by example in a fast-paced restoration and performance automotive environment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automotive parts identification, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and process organization. Experience with classic muscle cars, restoration parts, performance vehicles, or used parts operations is highly preferred.
This individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, improving workflow efficiency, assisting with fulfillment operations, and helping manage warehouse staff while supporting the continued growth of the company.
We currently operate out of a 40,000 sq. ft. heated and cooled facility located just north of I-80 near Hwy 77 and Waverly Rd. on the edge of Lincoln. Our shop specializes in classic muscle car and truck restoration, parts sales, and high-end vehicle builds.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and organization
- Lead and assist warehouse staff with daily priorities, workflow, and task completion
- Receive, inspect, organize, and stock new and used car parts
- Accurately identify automotive parts and components for inventory and fulfillment
- Pick, package, and ship parts orders for e-commerce and wholesale customers
- Maintain organized warehouse storage systems and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, and parts labeling procedures
- Train and support warehouse employees on processes, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and management to efficiently locate and distribute parts
- Monitor warehouse efficiency and recommend process improvements to increase productivity and accuracy
- Assist with scheduling freight shipments, receiving deliveries, and handling shipping documentation
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and ensure proper warehouse safety practices are followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment
- Help develop and implement systems for inventory organization and operational growth
Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * Previous automotive parts and warehouse management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic muscle car parts, restoration parts, and performance vehicles highly preferred
- Experience supervising or leading warehouse personnel
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, shipping, and receiving
- Ability to identify automotive components and understand parts terminology
- Experience with inventory software and warehouse management systems
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy automotive parts
- Dependable work ethic with strong attention to detail
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment and used parts handling is a plus
