Job description

  • Build and maintain backend components and ETL processes - stored procedures, SQL jobs, SSIS packages, APIs, and PowerShell/batch scripts
  • Diagnose complex data and performance issues and deliver durable technical solutions
  • Use modern AI tools like Claude Code for daily development and repetitive work
  • Write code that’s clear, easy to test, and easy for the next person to maintain
  • Participate in after-hours deployments, database scripting, and critical job runs as needed
  • Document your work as you go
  • Join daily standups to share progress and surface blockers early
  • Partner directly with clients to gather requirements and shape new data structures
  • Contribute to code reviews against internal standards
  • Provide technical guidance and effort estimates in product design sessions
  • Support QA during testing phases
  • Reliably ship critical work on time

Requirements

Do you have experience in Enterprise software?, The role will be a critical part of a small team working with the client to design, implement, test, and deploy new import/export functionality for our existing enterprise solutions. We’re looking for a candidate that is a passionate problem solver with excellent communication skills that is experienced with troubleshooting and designing new functionality based on client requirements and documentation., * 4+ years of recent experience with enterprise Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS

  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Relational database design
  • ETL processing and best practices
  • T-SQL - stored procedures, functions, triggers, views
  • Performance tuning with query execution plans
  • Passionate problem solver; adept at troubleshooting support tickets by tracing the code’s path to identify and solve problems and find the root cause
  • Comfortable working independently and within a small team
  • Sharp communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Bonus: hands-on experience with Claude Code and Jira
