Cloud Based Software Engineer - Levels 1, 2 & 3

MissionEdge Technologies is seeking Cloud Software Engineers across all experience levels (Levels 1, 2, and 3). We are looking for someone who is energetic and loves solving complex problems in real time. • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
• Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of Software Engineering experience. Alternatively, an additional 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with Python, FASApi, JavaScript, JSON, CSS
• Experience with building conventional Rest Services
• Experience Querying MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Experience with working within a Docker / Compose enabled environment
• Experience and comfort using Gitlab, Jira
• Experience and comfort moving between frontend and backend development
• AI assisted development
• Eager to learn, energetic, and highly motivated junior developer

Desired/Preferred Skills:

• Backend skills with Golang, Protobuf
• Frontend: React, SASS/LESS, Leaflet (UI map library)
• Elasticsearch index management
• Experience with Kubernetes

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.

Candidates are invited to submit their salary expectations along with their application. The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
