Job description

  • Install, configure, operate, and maintain data center equipment and systems

  • Perform cabling, racking, server installations, and cable terminations

  • Maintain accurate system documentation and inventory records

  • Troubleshoot hardware and cabling issues within data center environments

  • Utilize cable and fiber testing equipment to ensure quality standards

  • Handle hard drives and components while following ESD procedures

  • Read and interpret build documents, schematics, and cable routing lists

  • Train and support team members on repair techniques and procedures

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Follow all warehouse safety and quality standards

  • Complete accurate data entry and system updates

  • Support additional operational needs as assigned

Requirements

Are you experienced in data center operations, cabling, and server installations? We are seeking a Data Center Technician to join a growing team in Alburtis, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with complex rack systems., * 3+ years of experience cabling complex data rack systems

  • Strong understanding of data center technology and infrastructure

  • Knowledge of data rack cabling standards and best practices

  • Experience with cable and fiber testing equipment

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic and hardware issues

  • Experience handling sensitive equipment while following ESD standards

  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and routing documentation

  • Proficient computer skills and accurate data entry abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and equipment

  • Must be able to pass a technical aptitude assessment if required

Benefits & conditions

Pay Details: $26.50 per hour
