Job description

We are recruiting for a Data Analyst, to join our high-impact Final Mile Data Science team, working on some of the most commercially critical areas of the business. You will support and enhance existing data science solutions, helping to drive optimisation and cost efficiency across large-scale operations.

Working with complex datasets covering millions of households daily, you’ll turn data into actionable insights that influence key decisions at the highest level. You will also play a key role in scaling new initiatives, including leveraging our Evri Premium (DHL) datasets to unlock further value.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their analytics experience, work closely with senior stakeholders, and develop towards a future career in Data Science.

What You will Do

You will support the delivery and ongoing development of advanced analytics solutions, working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Commercial and Technology. You’ll ensure data-driven insights are translated into meaningful actions that deliver measurable business impact., * Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities

  • Support and maintain existing data science models and analytical outputs
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Support optimisation initiatives, including scaling solutions to new datasets (e.g. DHL integration)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of in-house machine learning tools
  • Monitor performance of analytical solutions and ensure they deliver expected outcomes

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, * Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of statistical techniques
  • Experience delivering business outcomes through data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience using Excel for data analysis and visualisation
  • Exposure to Python, Spark or similar tools (or willingness to learn)
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks advantageous)
