Job description

  • Work diligently, quickly and carefully to complete customer-requested edits of varying size and priority, develop plans for completing larger projects, collaborate with colleagues, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites.
  • Meet daily with colleagues to discuss goals for the day and week, collaborate with colleagues when needed, work independently on web change edits and coding and review work by colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of job experience in front end development.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, JSON. Knowledge of VueJS/React a plus.
  • Working knowledge of common IDEs such as WebStorm or VS Code.
  • Familiarity with PHP driven content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla or WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of site functionality, site architecture, data flow, and intuitive navigation schemes is expected.
  • Knowledge of versioning control (bitbucket, subversion, git).
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility and 508 compliance.
  • Good development skills with a proven portfolio (examples of working code in particular).
