Job description
As a Research/Data Analyst Senior, you will perform advanced data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work with complex datasets to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and provide actionable insights while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support research and evaluation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced data analysis with minimal supervision.
- Extract and manage data from Oracle databases using SQL.
- Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques and generate reports.
- Provide accurate and timely data to support business and research needs.
- Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for research and analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in complex data sets.
- Lead and support evaluation and research projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners on data initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar tools.
- Summarize findings and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and research support.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with databases such as Oracle.
- Experience interpreting large datasets and producing analytical reports.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working with databases and data extraction.
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience in research, data management, or government-related environments.
- Ability to create reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
