IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

Compass Health Systems is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our growing healthcare technology team.

This role combines infrastructure administration, systems support, Microsoft 365 administration, networking, endpoint management, and operational IT support across multiple healthcare locations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with strong experience supporting Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and end-user support. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Infrastructure & Operations Lead and play a critical role in maintaining operational stability, supporting infrastructure projects, and delivering exceptional technical support across the organization.

Work Schedule & Location

• Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
• Hybrid work schedule consisting of one required in-office day per week at our North Miami Beach headquarters and four remote workdays.
• Occasional travel to company locations throughout South Florida may be required.
• Mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved travel to locations other than the primary office.
• Weekend work is generally not required but may occasionally be needed during infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, or critical business initiatives.
• Flexible and collaborative work environment supporting both remote and onsite operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Systems Administration

• Administer Active Directory users, groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and Group Policies (GPOs).
• Support Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, file shares, and domain services.
• Assist with server upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot authentication, domain, and connectivity issues.
• Support hybrid identity environments and Microsoft Entra ID integrations.

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
• Assist with user provisioning, licensing, and account administration.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Support MFA, Conditional Access, and security policies.
• Assist with endpoint and cloud administration initiatives.

Networking Support

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
• Support VLAN configurations and network infrastructure.
• Assist with UniFi wireless environments.
• Work with vendors on network-related escalations.
• Identify and resolve routing, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.

Endpoint & User Support

• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and application issues.
• Support remote users and clinical staff across multiple locations.
• Assist with asset management and equipment lifecycle activities.

Documentation & Operations

• Maintain technical documentation and asset inventory.
• Follow security, HIPAA, and compliance procedures.
• Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Assist with vendor coordination and project implementation.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives., * Work directly with IT leadership on infrastructure modernization and strategic technology initiatives.
• Participate in Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and infrastructure projects.

Do you have experience in Windows?, * 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a related IT role.

• Strong experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kaseya products (VSA, BMS, IT Glue, VSAX, Datto).
• Experience with UniFi networking environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager.
• Experience in Healthcare IT environments.
• Experience supporting Five9 or call center technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection solutions., * Do you have hands-on experience administering Group Policies (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP in a Windows Server environment?
• Have you been responsible for onboarding/offboarding users, workstation deployments, and Active Directory account administration?
