Design Architect

• Surveying and documenting sites

• Reviewing site codes (egress, fixture counts, path of travel)

• Assisting in the preparation of budget scope drawings and specifications

• Coordinating technically with the design team

• Producing construction documents with technical detailing and specifications

• Coordinating with clients, landlords, and consultants

• Reviewing construction documents for accuracy

• Managing documentation distribution

• Responding to bidder inquiries

• Attending project meetings and addressing requests for information

• Conducting site inspections and approving layouts

• Coordinating revisions and additional documentation

• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals

• Managing punch lists and project close-out documentation

Do you have experience in Zoning regulations?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture?, * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BA); Master’s degree (MA) a plus

• Minimum of 5-8 years of professional technical experience in Corporate / Commercial Workplace / Retail Banking Interiors

• Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD required

• Thorough knowledge of contract documents and standards

• Familiarity with x-refs, layers, and layer management

• Knowledge of NYC and IBC Building Codes as well as NYC Zoning regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

The expected Annual Salary Range for this position is $85k to $115k. The role is full-time and hybrid, offering a comprehensive benefits package.
