Job description
The system is used by agencies including, but not limited to, the District Clerk, District Attorney, District Courts, Criminal Courts at Law, and other justice partners. The Web Application Developer will support enhancement requests, bug fixes, maintenance items, and application development efforts related to criminal justice matters.
This role will work closely with development team members, business users, stakeholders, and agency representatives to analyze requirements, validate user stories, support application functionality, and assist with ongoing system improvements., * Support the JWEB Criminal application.
- Perform analysis, testing, and development for application enhancements and bug fixes.
- Coordinate with the development team on existing backlog items.
- Support items currently in the maintenance phase.
- Validate requirements documents and user stories.
- Assist with the development and implementation of enhancement requests from county and law enforcement agencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to criminal justice processes.
- Participate in project-related meetings, ceremonies, and team discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand business needs and system requirements.
- Provide direct customer interaction and support as needed.
- Assist with batch report development and support as needed.
- Work with team members to ensure application changes are properly analyzed, developed, tested, and implemented.
- Support documentation of application functionality, requirements, testing results, and issue resolution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web applications?, * Knowledge of web application development and support.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to perform application testing and troubleshoot system issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers, business users, and project stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide customer support and interact professionally with agency representatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a maintenance and enhancement environment.
- Understanding of user stories, requirements documentation, and development backlog processes.
- Ability to participate effectively in project meetings and Agile-related ceremonies.
Preferred experience includes:
- Experience supporting enterprise web applications.
- Experience with criminal justice, court, law enforcement, or public sector systems.
- Experience working with integrated systems used by multiple agencies.
- Experience with application maintenance, bug fixes, and enhancement requests.
- Experience assisting with batch report development and support.
- Experience working with development backlogs and user stories.
- Experience providing direct customer or end-user support., * enterprise web applications: 4 years (Required)
- analyze requirements and translating: 5 years (Preferred)
- Supporting Web Application Developer : 4 years (Required)
- criminal justice, court, law enforcement, systems: 3 years (Preferred)
