Job description

  1. Asset Inventory Execution * Travel within the assigned territory to perform physical inventory of IT assets. * Locate, identify, and scan IT equipment using barcode scanners. * Verify asset details including:

o Asset tag number

o Device type

o Physical location

o Assigned user

o Operational status

  • Upload and validate inventory data in the designated system.
  • Identify and document discrepancies such as:

o Missing assets

o Duplicate entries

o Incorrect locations

o Unregistered assets

  1. Coordination & Field Operations * Schedule and coordinate site visits with facility stakeholders. * Develop and manage detailed inventory schedules. * Operate independently while ensuring timely completion of assigned sites. * Act as the primary point of contact for field inventory activities.

  2. Team Supervision * Provide guidance and oversight to temporary staff or interns. * Assign tasks and monitor daily progress of support personnel. * Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and quality standards.

  3. Reporting & Documentation * Prepare and submit:

o Weekly status reports

o Site completion reports

o Inventory discrepancy logs

o Resource utilization updates

  • Deliver a final project report covering:

o Completed inventory status, * Laptop

  • Barcode scanner
  • Inventory tools and training

  • Personal vehicle (non-reimbursable travel)

Work Schedule

  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Occasional flexibility required based on site access
  • Overtime only with prior approval

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Team supervision?, We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven IT Asset Inventory Field Coordinator to support a large-scale IT asset inventory project. The role involves conducting on-site physical audits of IT equipment, verifying asset details, and ensuring accurate data recording using barcode scanning and inventory systems.

This position requires frequent travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating inventory activities across multiple sites., * Minimum 2+ years of experience in:

o Asset management / inventory

o Field operations / logistics

  • Hands-on experience working with IT equipment:

o Laptops, desktops, printers, servers, network devices, etc.

  • Experience using:

o Barcode scanners

o Asset management or inventory systems

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating teams.
  • Proficiency in:

o Microsoft Office

o Data entry tools

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
