Job description

Responsible for defining and prioritizing the business needs of the agency health and human services enterprise systems, including the review and tracking of gaps between business processes, technical requirements, government compliance, or user experience for overall system functionality. Further, provides insight into the project and contractor methods of doing business by reviewing process and product activities for adherence to standards and plans.

Specific Responsibilities:

Designs information systems solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.

  • Facilitates software development lifecycle activities

  • Conducts Requirements Gathering Sessions

  • Creates artifacts relative to project initiatives

  • Contributes to work plans and other deliverables

  • Partners with QA to develop User Acceptance Testing

  • Communicates business challenges to stakeholder and assist in developing solutions

  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining procedures by applying IT best practices

  • Updates and creates training and learning management system documentation

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proven ability to take initiative to move daily work forward

  • Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed

  • Creative problem-solving ability

  • Commitment to exceptional client service

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Knowledge of tools used by the client such as Microsoft TFS/MTM, ADO, and Visual Studio

Required Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Experience: 4+ years’ experience in business planning and software development

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $76,800-$90,000
