Job description

The hiring manager is open to both entry-level candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and experienced professionals with print production, workflow, or ERP expertise. Compensation will be based on experience and overall fit.

What You’ll Do

As a Technology Applications Specialist II, you will help design and maintain workflow templates that support estimating, production planning, and job execution across print operations.

Work Template Development

  • Create and maintain reusable ERP work templates for common customer jobs
  • Build template sections including cover pages, body pages, inserts, and finishing operations
  • Ensure templates are accurate, scalable, and easy for estimators to use

ERP Configuration & Workflow Design

  • Configure templates within ERP systems and workflow applications
  • Define production requirements including materials, layouts, printing methods, and finishing operations
  • Maintain template accuracy, version control, and documentation

Print Production Support

  • Apply knowledge of print production processes including:
  • Single and double-sided printing
  • Up-on-sheet configurations
  • Imposition and layout requirements
  • Bleeds and production specifications
  • Translate customer requirements into efficient production workflows

Materials & Finishing Knowledge

  • Understand and apply paper stock specifications, weights, and finishes
  • Incorporate binding, cutting, coating, and finishing requirements into workflow templates
  • Ensure production setup and costing accurately reflect job requirements

Estimating & Costing Support

  • Support estimation teams by creating templates that improve speed and accuracy
  • Reduce manual entry and estimation errors
  • Assist users in customizing templates for unique customer requirements

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze workflow effectiveness and estimation accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes
  • Support ongoing improvements using Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology

Requirements

Do you have experience in ERP systems?, Detail-oriented and technically minded Technology Applications Specialist II to support the development and optimization of print production workflows within an ERP environment. This position plays a critical role in designing work templates, configuring production processes, and improving estimating accuracy for print operations., Required
