ERP Application Support Specialist

We are seeking an ERP Application Support Specialist to support and configure business applications used in production and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting ERP, CRM, or similar enterprise applications from the back end, with a strong understanding of system configuration, workflow setup, data management, and user support.

While knowledge of print production workflows is beneficial, it is not required. The primary focus of this role is ERP application support, template configuration, workflow management, and process optimization.

ERP Application Configuration & Support

• Configure, maintain, and support ERP system functionality and workflows.
• Create, update, and manage reusable work templates within the ERP platform.
• Assist users with system-related issues, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Maintain data integrity, template accuracy, and system documentation.
• Support ongoing system enhancements and optimization initiatives.

Workflow & Template Management

• Build and maintain templates used for estimating, production planning, and operational processes.
• Configure workflow components, task assignments, and production routing within the ERP system.
• Modify templates and workflows based on changing business requirements.
• Ensure standardized processes are accurately reflected within system configurations.

Business Process Analysis

• Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Translate business requirements into ERP system configurations and workflow solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and IT teams to improve system performance and usability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Estimation & Operational Support

• Enable users to efficiently generate estimates and process jobs through system templates.
• Support job costing, production planning, and workflow management functions.
• Ensure system configurations align with business and operational requirements.
• Assist in reducing manual effort and improving process accuracy.

Do you have experience in Workflow management (operations management method)?, Technical Skills

• Experience supporting ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business applications.
• Understanding of ERP system configuration, workflows, and data management.
• Familiarity with XML and system integrations is preferred.
• Experience working with business process automation and workflow tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues and support end users.

Functional Skills

• Experience with job costing, estimating, production planning, or workflow management processes.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Strong understanding of business process workflows and lifecycle management.

Analytical Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP platforms such as Avanti or similar systems.
• Experience supporting applications from the back end, including ERP or CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of print production, commercial print, or digital production environments is a plus.
• Experience with workflow systems and process automation tools.
• Exposure to production planning, estimating, or manufacturing environments.
