Job description

(20%)

  • Fielding online studies

(50%)

  • Providing support with general research activities (e.g., data analysis, literature review, writing research manuscripts, etc.)

(30%)

  • Performing various administrative duties (e.g., managing the labs’ IRB protocols, maintaining budgets, submitting reimbursement requests, managing participant recruiting systems, maintaining lab websites, and maintaining lab emails)

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Completed coursework in psychology
  • At least two semesters working or volunteering in a psychology research laboratory

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • The ability to work independently
  • Basic proficiency in statistics, research design, and R Studio
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion and interest in social psychology research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 semesters working or volunteering in a psychology research laboratory

  • Experience conducting research in social psychology
  • Independently led research project (e.g., honors thesis, capstone, summer project, etc.)
  • Experience with UNH’s (or other university) IRB process
  • Experience with quantitative research methods
  • Experience with Qualtrics
  • Experience with R or other programming languages
