Technical Support Expert

• Conduct tech support assistance via face to face and through virtual tools - video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare technical reports on data security and risk analysis
• Maintain technology upgrades and provide recommendations on new software and tools to increase client retention as well as meet office goals
• Provide both staff and clients with support on IRS tools as well as other tax tools
• Mentor and support teammates in use of all office programs
• Provide office staff with trainings monthly on new applications and software
• Maintain maintenance logs including but not limited to the annual WISP

Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Experience in software development or technology support

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ease and comfort working with virtual tools - video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Technical Support knowledge assessment
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

It would be even better if you also had…

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting or related field
• Experience completing complex returns
• Experience conducting virtual interviews
• Technical support experience
