Webmaster

This is a VOLUNTEER position for the Kendall County Democratic Party (KCDP) in Kendall County, Texas. The applicant will join our team of highly motivated Democrats who believe in our organization’s mission. We would generally expect that the candidate be based in the South Texas area, or have a direct interest in Kendall County affairs.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Webmaster to lead the maintenance, and optimization of our WordPress website. This role is essential for ensuring our websites are secure and efficient.

Duties

• Be responsive to website update requests with a reasonable turn-around time. These requests are relatively infrequent. Perhaps as infrequent as once monthly requiring a relatively small amount of work (1-2hrs). There may be times when major updates are needed such as posting candidate bios and headshots. These are less frequent, generally preceding elections.
• Maintain site security and functionality.
• Strong grasp of information security principles-implementing firewalls., VPNsand ensuring compliance with security standards.

Pay: $1.00 per year
