Data Center Technician

• Install and support overhead cable management systems, including basket tray and ladder rack infrastructure.
• Pull, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling in commercial and data center environments.
• Terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Assist with fiber optic cable installation, fusion splicing, termination, and testing for network infrastructure projects.
• Interpret construction drawings, cable schedules, and technical documentation to complete installations accurately.
• Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas while adhering to all job site safety requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on schedule in fast-paced construction environments.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scissor lifts to perform installations safely and efficiently.
• Experience working at heights and operating lifts for overhead cable installation and infrastructure work.

Do you have experience in Structured cabling installation?, * Bulk fusion splicing experience involving approximately 6,900 feet of 12-strand fiber optic cable.

• Knowledge of structured cabling systems and data center infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting and testing fiber optic networks using industry-standard equipment.
• Familiar with OSHA safety practices and construction site protocols.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in various environments.
