Perform loopback testing and circuit verification.
Install and troubleshoot Fiber and copper cabling.
Support hardware installations and data center infrastructure.
Maintain accurate documentation of network paths and circuits.
Follow all safety guidelines while working onsite., We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our data center infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across cloud and on-premises environments.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in data center operations or structured cabling.
Experience with Fiber optic and copper cabling.
Familiarity with cabling hand tools and testing equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
OTDR/PMLS testing.
Fusion or Mechanical Splicing.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs (move up to 75 lbs).
Comfortable working in active data center environments, including ladders and confined spaces.
Benefits & conditions
$25.88 - $30.00 an hour - Contract
