Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher and software developer to develop simulation platform for semiconductor manufacturing solutions (including process and device simulations, DTCO), preferably with expertise in high-performance scientific computing (numerical algorithms, linear/PDE solvers, computational geometry, distributed processing, GPU acceleration, etc) and semiconductor domain knowledge.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software engineering?, The ideal candidate should possess the following education and experience: PhD (or MS with 3+ years of research/industry experience) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.), with expertise in:
- Scientific computing: Numerical algorithms (FEM/FD/FVM), eigen/linear/PDE solvers, convex optimization, computational geometry, computer graphics.
- High-performance computing: Distributed processing, OpenMPI, GPU acceleration, CUDA ecosystems.
- SW/Programming skills: Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python, Code Copilot
- AI/ML applications: Leveraging AI/ML to accelerate problem solving processes.
- Semiconductor knowledge (preferred but not required): Basic semiconductor process (photolithography, etch, deposition, CMP) and semiconductor device physics.
- Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex computational challenges.
- Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule.
