Job description

Join a growing ERP integration provider where you’ll combine technical delivery with client-facing consultancy. You’ll play a significant part in the development, support, and implementation of our client’s fully adaptable ERP integration system. You will consult with clients and manage multiple projects whilst also carrying out small development responsibilities. Right to Work in the UK is essential, * Consulting on software installations and updates.

  • Development work using XSLT
  • Creating various development RunSets:
  • External data connectors such as web services, FTP, EDI networks etc.
  • Internal ERP connectors such as SAP Business One, Sage etc.
  • Data transformation, for example, XML to CSV as required by the ERP system interface. This will require the creation of XSLT maps or the extension of existing ones from our repository.
  • Picking up escalated tickets from the support team as and when required
  • Project Management
  • Creation of project documentation.
  • Supporting the sales team with quotes for new opportunities, project changes and solution updates.
  • Managing project timelines, tracking billable work, and supporting customers to manage changes.
  • Attending customer meetings including kick off and scoping sessions.
  • Training the end users when a project is delivered.

Requirements

Do you have experience in XSLT?, * Client facing work with ERP systems, either as a consultant or as technical support.

  • XSLT development or programming experience.
  • Demonstrable technical scripting or programming experience - Java, PHP, .NET.
  • Understanding of document formats such as CSV and XML.
  • Demonstrable experience of SQL Server Queries.
  • Excellent project management and customer facing capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of typical business management processes, including order management, stock control and invoicing.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK and within commutable distance of Leeds.

Desirable Technical Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP Business One or Sage ERP systems.
  • Experience of EDI standards and systems.
  • Basic understanding of SOAP and REST web services.
  • A strong understanding of AI and Microsoft Copilot tools and concepts., This role would suit a candidate with strong technical skills and previous experience in an ERP consultant or support role. You’ll have knowledge of XSLT, and solid technical scripting or programming experience. Alongside programming and development work, you will be required to advise and consult clients on their integration process and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of these projects.
